Ideas and projects in the social sector
The DVF was founded in 2001 to cooperate with the Indian Embassy in Rome in coordinating and handling aid in favour of the victims of the Gujarat earthquake. Trough socio-sanitary and micro-finance projects, we promoted a series of activities in India, The Philippines and Brazil.
However, our organisation wanted to take action on a national level too. In 2003, using the funds received by Provincia di Roma, recreational activities for the elderly were promoted within the territory of the 11th Municipality of the city of Rome.
From the beginning, our work has been made possible thanks to your contributions.
With the cooperation of professionals who have volontarily donated their time and skills, and the efforts of missionaries working every day in many countries world-wide, together we have contributed to improving the living conditions in some villages. We have drained swamps, built wells, primary schools and clinics and started up projects aimed at building skills in order to promote self-employment.
